Crowhall Medical Group are thrilled to recruit a Salaried GP for up to six sessions, we would consider progression to partner should this be of interest. This is an excellent opportunity to join our extremely supportive, friendly, sound, well-established, high performing practice as a salaried GP.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, dynamic GP including GP's for up to 6 sessions a week to join our fantastic team to help deliver first class medical care to our patient population of around 6400.

Now is an exciting time to join the practice as you could be involved in shaping it's future and be in a key position to become a partner should this be of interest to you.


We are a multi-cultural, diverse practice and welcome applications from GP's from minoritised communities particularly practitioners who can consult in a second language.

Main duties of the job


The post-holder will manage a patient-based caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.


The post-holder will make themself available to undertake a variety of duties including set on-call days(s), surgery consultations, telephone / video consultations, answering queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.

Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.


In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans for health.

Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.


Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.

Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.

Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.


In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care
