Primary Health Care Centre: Salaried GP with a view to Partnership

We are a well-established semi-rural dispensing practice looking for an enthusiastic GP for a full time or job share post as a part of succession plans.


We work with an ethos of traditional family medicine and value continuity of care. As a GP in a small village, you will become a trusted member of the village community.


We are actively involved in the Gateshead Outer West PCN and share 3 WTE clinical pharmacists, 3 WTE Social Prescribing link workers and a Care co-ordinator across 7 practices.


  • CQC rating “Good”

  • High QOF performing

  • 1.6 WTE GP equivalent comprised of 3 part time GPs

  • EMIS Web

  • GMS contract

  • Patient population circa 2450

  • Supportive administrative and nursing team, including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

  • Process of document management to streamline essential clinically relevant documents to the relevant clinicians

  • Well-developed relationship with community nursing teams

  • Purpose built GP owned premises

  • Interest in minor surgery or other special interest would be desirable but not essential
