Crowhall Medical Group: Salaried GP with a view to Partnership

An exciting and excellent opportunity has arisen to join our extremely supportive, friendly, sound, well-established practice as a salaried GP with a view to being a partner at Crowhall Medical Group. This comes following the retirement of the senior partner who had served the practice for over thirty year, 20 of those years as a partner. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward-thinking GP including GP’s freshly qualified, for 6 to 8 sessions a week to join our fantastic team to help deliver first class medical care to our patient population of around 6000. Now is an exciting time to join the practice as you could be involved in shaping it's future and be in a key position to become a partner. We are looking for someone who can support and embrace change driving the practice forward, supporting our vision for innovative development and growth.

We are a forward thinking, aspirational, friendly, warm and supportive team who encourage an open and supportive culture with a special focus on achieving a healthy work-life balance for the whole team. Our team is led by a dynamic single partner (m) with years of clinical experience (both hospital and as a GP), who works full time and does minor surgery clinics and Musculo-skeletal injections. Our team further consists of one experienced salaried GP (m), a nurse prescriber, a senior nurse trained in clinical skills, one practice nurse and two health care assistants. We have two PCN pharmacists to help dealing with medication queries, medication reviews and reconciling medications. We also have a mental health worker who does mental health clinic one day a week at our premises which we can directly book into. All the clinical work are well supported by our highly trained, experienced and dedicated administration team. We are also recruiting an advanced nurse practitioner to join our team currently.

Our practice provides excellent care and excels in treating and caring for patients with long term conditions. We provide minor surgery clinics and offers joint and other Musculo skeletal injections to our patient population. We are high QoF achievers year on year which is down to our great team and work ethic. We had a recent CQC inspection and was rated ‘Good over all’ and ‘Good’ in all areas. We are part of a small but very friendly and supportive PCN.

Our patient demographic is very mixed, resulting in a diverse and interesting clinical workload which provides great job satisfaction.

The salary is competitive, and negotiable and the contract is in line with the BMA recommendations.

This post is eligible for the ''new to partnership scheme'' for applicants that would be interested in partnership and we fully support that. The scheme gives eligible participants a sum of up to £20,000 plus a contribution towards on-costs of up to £4,000 and we could guide the new partner through the process.

Whether newly qualified or an experienced GP, you can enjoy the following benefits with us:
